Time: 15/09/2004 Trip: From Brussels to Lanzarote - Canarian Island next to Africa. Atmosphere: hot, touristic and relaxed All-in ****
Theme: the things that brought me to calm down, to relax, to have a vacation in sun, no musts, no do's or don'ts, but ofcourse I still felt the need to do photography. I will take you on a little adventure through some shots I did during the journey. Keap in mind, this is not what you are used to see from me - this is what I felt like calm, restfull, full of relax - as simple as it may be - it felt good
On the arrival at the airport in Brussels, my first emotion that struck me was the feeling of lift off.
The fact that you should drop your lugage off - walk to you gate - and there wait - wait - check in, than boarding and lift off.
For the first time on the trip I felt connected with the people who were with me on that plane. Also waiting, just like me. This is what I snapped to capture, a man attending his flight, maybe he paused to read his paper, maybe he is heading home to see his children, maybe he is not, but still he was on the same one as me. - Lanzarote till 22 september 2004... Wow, it all looks so clean and modern and uber-efficient. It's like my dream place to be.
And I'm loving the way the sky and the waiting area reflect off the tiles in the floor. And how the guy in the background on the left is practically silhouetted against the window. Muchly cool.

I didn't realise I was that fast. I just commented as soon as I saw it because I loved it so much.
At least you enjoyed it.
I almost was going to do two years in one, but I was told it'd be a lot of work and I decided not to so I could focus on other subjects at college right now. I wish it weren't my last year before university, though. I hate the idea of having to uproot and move halfway across the country to finish my education.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
